An experiential and educational workshop based on the research of Brené Brown
Owning our stories of hurt can be very painful. Without the courage to face pain, these hurts can own us and dictate our behavior. Stories of hurt can be big, like a divorce or the loss of a job. Or they can be small, like a conflict with a friend or coworker. The process of facing the pain can mean we get to rewrite the story and the ending. This process is threefold. The reckoning: we get curious about how we are feeling about our struggle. The rumble: We interact with our pain until we get to a place of knowing the truth about it. The revolution: we change how we view ourselves on such a deep level it becomes a revolution in our lives.
If we are going to live brave lives, we will fall. This process is essential to know how to get back up and cultivate wholeheartedness.
